The Charles Schwab campus provides a range of outdoor experiences to foster a healthy work environment including spaces for relaxation, exercise and community gathering.
For exercise, the project weaves walking trails through existing woodlands and restored native grass and wildflower meadows. A ramble garden with boulder seating and flowering native plantings creates a more intimate setting for relaxing. An amphitheatre overlooks the
site’s wet pond and a large open area lined with an allee
of trees provides gathering spaces for large groups.
Irrigation is 100% non-potable and taps into an existing storm water wet pond. The entry drive landscape which is seeded with native grass species will use no irrigation once it’s established. The project is LEED Gold certified.
