The Elisabet Ney Museum, Austin TX

The Elisabet Ney Museum, a national historic site, is the home and studio of the renowned sculptor Elisabet Ney who moved to Austin in 1882. The museum celebrates her art, her legacy, and her interest in nature as a source for artistic inspiration.

Co’design is proud to collaborate with Ten Eyck Landscape Architects on a landscape rehabilitation plan that continues to highlight the historic native prairie and riparian landscape that existed during Ms. Ney’s time as well as new landscape interventions that improve site access and create opportunities for expanded exterior programming including community festival events, temporary outdoor art exhibits, children’s nature programs, and art education.
