Travis County hired Co’design to research East Metro Park’s site history for public interpretation purposes.

Research findings are being developed into a signage display at the Park’s entry. Covering prehistory to present-day, research revealed stories of Native American inhabitants and some of the earliest Anglo settlements in Central Texas. The East Metro Park area, located between Manor and Webberville, was home to pioneers who fought in the Texas Battle for Independence and at the Alamo and were distinguished members of the Texas Rangers.
